Why did the store close at 8:45 pm when it is listed to be open until 9 pm?

Our stores do start the closing process up to 15 minutes before the allotted closing time. It is important that all customer transactions be processed before close, otherwise they are in breach of their liquor license. We understand that this can sometimes be inconvenient for customers, and we do apologise for your recent experience if this has happened to you.
