Why was I refused service at my local store?

As part of Endeavour Drinks, Dan Murphy's adheres to a strict policy regarding the Responsible Service of Alcohol for the protection of the community, our customers, and our business. Each state accepts different forms of identification for RSA purposes, and it's important that you are able to provide a valid one. We also reserve the right to refuse service to any group (classified as two or more people) where one or more persons cannot show the ID or when someone is underage and at risk of being supplied alcohol. This is to prevent any risk of secondary supply. You can find out more about our RSA commitment here.

If you have been on the receiving end of a negative experience, and our team members did not accurately explain the law and/or our policy to you at the time this incident occurred, we apologise. Please be assured that we take such feedback seriously. If you would like to give us more information about your specific experience, please get in touch with our Customer Service team at the bottom of this page.
