What is Dan's Marketplace?
Dan Marketplace is an extended and high-quality product range that will connect customers with suppliers, including boutique wineries, craft brewers and artisan distillers. Dan's Marketplace products are sourced directly from their distributors and delivered straight to our customer's doorstep.
Dan's Marketplace products are not available in our stores or warehouses but are delivered directly from the supplier to you.
What's New To Dan's Marketplace?
PICK UP IN-STORE! (Limited stores & products available)
- Why is this MP order available for pick up but this other one is not?
Not all Marketplace products are currently available for Pick Up, however, we are constantly reviewing our lists and more products may become available for pick up in future. In the meantime, you can always have your selected Marketplace product delivered to a residential or work address.
- Can I leave my core item to get collected at the same time?
Yes, you can. The store may call you to check in on whether you were notified your core items were ready for collection after 7 days, but just let them know you are waiting until you have been notified all your order is ready for Pick Up.
- How does gifting work with MP Pick up (ie changing authorised person)?
The person listed on the order will need to be the person who picks up the order. if you need to change the name of the person collecting the order, please get in touch with our friendly team via live chat.
- I wish to return my Marketplace pick up order.
No problem at all - simply return your order to the store you picked it up from. The store team will then arrange a refund for you with our customer hub team, which you will see reflected in your bank account over the following 5 business days.
- How do I know when my order is ready for collection?
When your order has been received by your nominated store and is ready for collection, you will receive a notification email to collect.
- How long do I have to collect my order?
Once you have received your collection notification, we ask that you pick up your order from the store within 7 business days. If you are unable to collect within 7 days, please reach out to us via live chat to let us know. Orders that have not been collected after 21 days will be cancelled and refunded.
- Will my order be delivered together or split?
If you have ordered Marketplace products from more than one supplier, it is likely to arrive in store on different days, as the products will be coming from different locations. Once your order has been delivered, you will receive a notification to let you know it is ready for collection.
- How long will it take to arrive in store for collection?
Marketplace deliveries can take up to 10 business days to be delivered to the store, in line with standard Marketplace delivery timeframes. You will receive an email to let you know when it has arrived in the store for pickup.
- Can I track my Marketplace Pick Up?
Please allow up to 10 business days for your order to be delivered to your nominated Dan Murphy's for collection. If you have not received a notification to collect your order after 10 business days, please reach out to our friendly team over live chat who will be able to assist you further.
- I have received a text that my order is ready for pick up but I ordered a mix of Marketplace and Dan's products - is it all ready for collection?
You will receive a text when your regular Dans products are ready to pick up. When your Marketplace products are ready to pick up, you will be notified by email. If you miss the email, don't worry - our friendly store team will reach out if you have not collected your order after 7 days.
You will receive an email communication when each of your products is ready to collect.
How long does Dan's Marketplace take and how much does it cost?
Our Dan's Marketplace timeframes and fees vary depending on your delivery area (metro/regional/country) as well as your location in comparison to the supplier themselves.
How it works
Ordering Dan's Marketplace through Dan Murphy's just got even easier. Order online, select delivery as your order type and input your delivery address.
1. Shop online
Choose delivery option, and start selecting your Dan's Marketplace items. Add your drinks to cart and checkout.
2. Choose Delivery
Select Delivery during checkout. Complete your order and your drinks will be on their way soon!
Do I need to sign while receiving Dan's Marketplace orders?
For registered users:
- For first-time delivery orders, registered users (over the age of 18) must be present at the delivery address to receive the orders and show their IDs to the drivers and sign for the order.
- For all the other standard delivery orders and standard gift delivery orders, registered users don't have to show their IDs to the drivers and orders can be left unattended if you choose.
For guest users:
- For all standard delivery orders and standard gift delivery orders, guest users (over the age of 18) must be present at the delivery address to receive the orders and show their IDs to the drivers.
What happens if I'm not there to receive my Dan's Marketplace order?
If you are not there to receive your Dan's Marketplace order, it will be taken back to the local depot and carded to arrange redelivery. Sometimes it may come via Australia Post and in which case, it will be taken to your local post office for you to collect at your convenience.
