Got a huge nugget of juicy gossip? Well now’s the time to share, babies, because we’re diving head first into Libra season. If we were to assign a character to this particular zodiac (because why not), they’re definitely giving off Gretchen Weiner vibes – “That’s why her hair is so big – it's full of secrets.” Apart from being a proud gossip, a Libra also values fancy shiny stuff, is a stickler for balance and strives for fairness (sort of). To get a more rounded picture of a classic Libra, you just have to look at some of the more famous Libras like Serena Williams or Cardi B or, perhaps the best example, Kim Kardashian. With this in mind, we’ve rounded up a few drinks that are sure to meet even the Libra-ist of Libras’ standards.

1. The brunch time icon

Every Libra knows that brunch is THE place to collect juicy goss. It’s kind of like church for the non-religious. Usually on a Sunday, a little dolled up, breaking bread and, of course, the reviewing of that week’s tea. So, it makes sense that a typical brunch drink would be a Libra go-to. And what’s the most iconic of the brunch cocktail family? The Mimosa. It’s the perfect accompaniment to your millennial avo on toasts. And best of all? 2. The balancing act

There’s a reason the symbol for Libra is a pair of scales. Yes, they are horrible gossips, but surprisingly they also really value fairness and balance (sounds like a bit of contradiction, no?). Libra’s are the bowerbirds of the zodiac. They love picking up shiny things, taking them back to their nest and showing them off to their friends. They love fancy, classy stuff and have shockingly elegant taste. So, if you find yourself in a situation where, say, you’ve been invited to the opera and don’t have anything to wear, hit up your Libra friend.
