Two glasses of Pink Gin Fruit Punch

This simple fruity punch is sure to please any party.

About the cocktail

Pink gin has taken the world by storm, its momentum powered by the summer snaps filling our social media feeds. Fortunately, pink gin doesn't just look good, it also tastes fantastic, with notes of raspberries and strawberries mingling with gin’s classic juniper flavour.

For this Pink Gin Fruit Punch cocktail, we've taken pink gin and added sparkling rosé and grapefruit soda along with a bunch of fresh fruit. The sparkling rosé adds a lively bubbly element to the punch as well as a touch of creaminess, while the grapefruit soda balances everything out with its subtle bitterness.

This cocktail is best enjoyed on a warm afternoon on the porch, in the backyard or at your local park with a picnic rug rolled out. It’s easy to make and not too sweet, so it’ll appeal to a wide variety of tastes and provide plenty of refreshment along the way.

Dan’s top tips

In its current iteration, the Pink Gin Fruit Punch cocktail isn't overly sweet, depending on the sparkling rosé you use. Though most tend to be fruity and floral, some will dip into sweet territory, so be sure to source a dry style if possible.

If you do wish to make a sweeter punch, then a sweeter style of sparkling rosé is just the ticket – or even go for a pink moscato – and you can also muddle the raspberries before adding them, which will release their sweetness into the punch.
