About the cocktail
Watch: How to make a Watermelon and Cucumber Gin Cooler
Ingredients
45mL gin 90mL watermelon juice (fresh is best) * 60mL aloe vera drink ** 10mL lemon juice 5mL gentian liqueur 5–8 mint leaves 3 slices cucumber Garnish: scored watermelon skin, cucumber and mint * You’re unlikely to find watermelon juice pre-packaged in the store, so we recommend buying a whole watermelon, cutting it into chunks and liquifying it in your blender. You can then just measure out the 90mL you need for each cocktail.
** You can find aloe vera drink in most supermarkets and Asian grocers.
Method
To a large glass, add lemon, watermelon and aloe vera juices, gentian liqueur and your fave gin Gently add in your mint leaves and cucumber slices and briefly stir Fill with ice, and garnish the drink with scored watermelon skin, cucumber slices and mint
