La Biondina succeeds again! Primo Estate has made "The Blonde" for 30 consecutive vintages and the fresh, aromatic white is still as attractive as ever! Passionfruit dominates the bouquet with bright citrus flavours and a fresh acid finish. Very "more-ish" and a great match for Chilli Calamari.

... this screams of summer, redolent of tropical passionfruit, full of zing and more of that tangy fruit on the palate. It hangs more-ishly in your taste memory as well. Lovely.

This is the 30th consecutive release of Primo Estate Colombard. A fantastic achievement. It's grown on the Adelaide Plains, at just 10 metres above sea level. Cooling maritime breezes. Lots of up-front aroma and flavour - it's a real assault on the senses, in a most pleasurable way - though it then falls away on the finish. It's a page-turner with a saggy ending. Green and red apples, passionfruit and melon. Great while the flavour lasts. And despite the score - worth buying.
