Alluring ruby-crimson, this is as pure an expression of Tempranillo as you could hope to find. It's spicy and grippy, loaded with dark red fruits framed by fine oak. A fantastic food wine.

I stood up at the TempraNeo! roadshow and declared that if this is what twenty-year-old vines can do, I look forward to Australian tempranillo in a decade or two! Truth is, as much credit is due to the talented duo of Narelle and Don as to their crusty old vines for this perfumed, poised and silk-textured wine.

The best release yet. On the nose there are juicy rich mulberries, freshly dug earth with hints of blackcurrant and aniseed. The palate has impressive length, balance and structure.

Dan Murphy's Wine Panel

Victoria's pre-eminent tempranillo exponents have taken fruit and finely crafted it into a fresh, blueberry and spice-flavoured pleasure mostly about its potential at the table. It's crunchy and neatly grippy in the mouth, with savoury garden-herb notes.
