A rustic example of the time-honoured Australian blend of cabernet sauvignon and shiraz, this wine from Padthaway in south-eastern South Australia opens with blackberry, leather and minty aromas with a slight feral touch. The palate is medium-bodied and the flavour tracks a middle course between ripe and savoury. Tannins are fine.
