About this product

Pale lemon in colour with lifted kaffir lime aromas, citrus blossoms and orange zest with hints of wild fennel. The fine yet powerful palate has a lingering finish and balanced natural acid line.

This is a consistently great riesling and the price is a steal. O'Leary Walker set the standard. A poor man's Grosset. Let it warm up a few degrees after being in the fridge. Cheap enough to drink every day.

This 2017 vintage has nice citrus flavours with a clean and crisp dry finish. Unfortunately, the screw cap is extremely difficult to break the seal and remove. This needs to change for future vintages.

Good wine hopeless bottling - or is it me.

I enjoy the dry crisp wine but I struggle with the screw top. This is not the first time. How can you break the seal. I’m sorry but it is stopping me from buying a good wine at a reasonable price.

More restrained than many 2012 Clare Rieslings, built for the long haul.

More restrained than many 2012 Clare Rieslings, built for the long haul. It lacks the fragrant, even opulent fruit of some of its competitors, it's drier and has more traces of minerals/ slate characters. Give it 5-8 years.
