Now under the stewardship of industry icon, Robert Oatley, Montrose have produced a wine that has paid homage to the name given to its Shiraz many years ago by its fans. Montrose Black Shiraz is made from fruit grown in vineyards over 500m in altitude bringing a structure and elegance to the wine while still delivering those traditional power-packed, rich fruit flavours everyone has come to love.

Black Shiraz by name, black by nature this is old school Mudgee Shiraz. Dense and plush, its brooding with dark fruit, earth and leather, a savoury mid-palate all supported by firm ample tannin.
