Deep golden colour, tending towards amber. The bouquet is evolved and full, broad and minerally, with a suggestion of volatile acidity, oyster-shell, hints of toffee, the palate very sweet and there's tannin and acid on the finish that restore balance. It’s a little uneven along the palate, a minor quibble.
