St Huberts Hubert The Stag Pinot Noir

  • Varietal:  Pinot Noir
  • Current Vintage:  2010*
  • Size:  750mL

St Huberts 'Hubert The Stag' is a wonderful new label from the historic Yarra Valley producers. After all the dramas of the 2009 vintage, this 2010 Pinot Noir really sings. Plenty of juicy concentration on the front palate with ripe plums that give way to a quite lovely savoury body and a perfectly balanced tannin backbone. Easy to see why this wine walked away with the Best of Wine of Show at the 2011 Yarra Valley Wine Show, beating home some very fancied opposition.

&the palate is juicy and generous on entry, with plump black fruits giving way to supple tannins and fresh acidity; a serious style with depth and persistence on the finish.
