Plunged twice a day, left on skins for 20 days, matured in French oak (20% new barriques). Interesting choice of grape for a nouveau drink-early style of red wine, with cabernet's notable tannins coming into play and reducing the juicy, plumminess you might otherwise expect. Highly fragrant aromas of violets, rose and wild berries. The prettiness of the bouquet gives way to savoury on the palate; earth, dried herbs and some imposing cabernet tannins.

Earth and iron filings aromas, a hint of eucalyptus, medium bodied and savoury, starting to show some development. Thick and fleshy texture; chewy tannins. Has some attractive cabernet flavour on palate
