...a classically structured and balanced riesling, already with plenty of zesty lime flavours underpinned by good acidity; will develop very well over many years.

Simply a belter. Really pretty floral and citrus driven aromatics, a touch of lavender in there and a bit of talc. Palate is bright and vibrant, zingy, zesty and clean. Great crunch of acid and a lemony lift, some spice and a trace of chalky mineral appeal. Quenches thirst, has crackling structure, finishes long and just a faint kiss of honeysuckle sweetness. Geez this is good drinking, saddle up for summer. Or now.

It has some bubble gum-like aromas but it's all class from there. Indeed it's a scintillating wine. Drives of lime, sherbert, talc and slate. Piercing length. Smoky/gunmetal-like aftertaste. Tremendous finish - for persistence and finesse.

One of Australia's greatest white wine bargains is as classy as ever in 2011. A tightly lined opening of musk gradually reveals a precision thread of lime and honeyed citrus notes. The acidity is bracing and clean and never smothers this beautiful wine.

It should be one of your go-to Rieslings this summer. Its a straight-shooting burst of lime but what I really like is the rindy, crunchy bite of flavour on the finish. This has excellent power... Pure lemon and lime but with something extra. Bargain.
