Theres a refreshing vibrancy to this wine. Fruit and oak intimately entwined with super-fine tannin and mouth-watering acidity. A joyous wine.

The 2009 Amy's grabbed us and made us love her from the very beginning. More than usual Petit verdot this time has resulted in an unstoppable structural backbone of crushed violets laced with Cabernet mulberry throughout. Could easily be a top producer's flagship wine.

Ripe mulberry, aniseed, a little floral perfume and subtle cedar spice oak. It's medium weight with fresh acidity and fine gained tannins and shows some marginally confected cherry and raspberry fruit sweetness, but the impression it gives is more towards youthful charm than mawkishness. Good finish with a positive tannin grip on exit. Reckon it needs just a little more time to settle but it's certainly approachable now.
