Function Catering

Catering drinks for a function doesn't have to be a difficult task.

In fact, why not let the Dan Murphy's Party Planner do all the work for you?

Some simple rules for function catering:

  • Don't be too specific, cater for the majority not the minority
  • Drinking patterns are very similar - no party varies greatly from another
  • Offer light beer and non alcoholic alternatives
  • Encourage responsible drinking

Each store has a team of experienced staff who will be more than happy to provide help and guidance for your function.

Glasses For Hire

Glass hire is only available in selected Victorian stores. To see if glass hire is available at your local store, please use Store Finder. Click on 'View Store Details' and look whether 'Glass Hire' is listed under 'Store Features'.

The hire period is for 3 days hire only (Including Weekend & Public Holidays) and is available in store.

  • Three types of glasses available for hire as 18 packs, dozen packs no longer exist:
    • Champagne
    • All Purpose
    • Beer

  • Hire Fee is $7.90 per 18 Pack for 3 day glass Hire. NO SPLIT PACKS to be hired.
  • Glasses hired must be returned rinsed, otherwise a fee of $2.50 per carton is charged.
  • The cost of a tray is $4.00 each if damaged
  • A breakage fee of $3.20 per glass applies
  • Ice Tub hire is $5.50 per tub (Tub Volume = 68.2L)
  • A fee of $35 applies to any broken or lost tubs
  • Glasses & Tubs are pick up only (unavailable for delivery)
